Description:
Sophia is the last scion of House Brade, carrying the formidable genetic legacy of two progenitors: Drake Brade and Adrian Carlos. Following the fall of her grandfather, Duke Brade, in the War of the Gods, she was raised by her maternal grandfather, Adrian. Though her physical form remains frozen as a twenty-year-old maiden, she has stood witness to four millennia of dynastic shifts, her magical prowess unfathomable. As a pure-blood, she does not fear the sun, though she sunburns more easily than most and possesses a physiological revulsion to spicy foods (a matter of personal palate).
She was once the most intimate confidante of Skykor’s legendary Queen, Matisse. Upon the Queen’s passing, Sophia accepted the charge to establish the “Royal Commission,” serving as an absolutely neutral arbiter of succession. In the annals of Adenian history, she is the sentinel of order. Contrary to popular myth, the Sang-Pura do not consume blood for sustenance; they utilize it solely as a catalyst for high-order incantations.

Sophia utterly perished during the War of the Gods. Her current existence is a miracle wrought by forbidden sorcery, for which her grandfather, Duke Brade, sacrificed his very soul. The price of this resurrection was not only the Duke’s erasure from existence but also the complete wiping of Sophia’s memories regarding her parents, her lineage, and her closest kin. That unshakable face blindness is, in fact, a permanent fracture left behind by the reconstruction of her soul.
